Today we attended our second chess tournament. The kids competed for are awesome chess club --
Jacob - kindergarten division - took 10th place by winning 4/6
Robby - 3rd grade - won 3/6 (he won a trophy last year, but had some tough competition this year)
Erica - 5th grade - won a trophy by winning 4/6!
This year was extra fun because my brother and niece were able to come with us.
Also, my Dad & Jan came to support the kids. It's a long day and we are so happy for their support (and the Diet Coke & water bottle runs)
We love our school chess club and the lady that runs it, Mary Elizabeth Christensen. Thank you for all you do for my kids!!
THAT IS FABULOUS! Congratulations to your kids. I love how happy you are about life, Julie. That's what makes your kids such special people.
