Lessons Learned

Today I learned the following:

1. If you dump a huge pot of boiling water into the sink and it doesn't go down the drain, you should not stick your hand in the drain to see what is clogging it. Ouch! Luckily it didn't burn badly, but boy, it hurt!

2. My baby (age 5) is losing his little boy looks.

3. Doing a puzzle featuring 101 alligators all by yourself is hard.

4. Rob makes up dinner recipes that can be very delicious.

5. When I don't leave my house for 6 days, I can set a new high score for landing 271 planes in the game "Flight Control."

6. My older kids enjoy teaching their little brother piano and giving him incentives to practice...even though they currently don't practice.

7. Coughing isn't necessarily toning my abs even though every muscle hurts. Too bad.

8. My sister-in-law makes really yummy banana bread (I already knew this, but it was fun to re-learn).

9. Humidifiers can contribute to happiness.

10. When I feel like blogging, I don't need anything exciting to blog about.
