This summer we made an investment with the help of the kids' bank accounts. We purchased our first trampoline. We spent more to get a trampoline with a high enough weight limit that we can all jump at once. Here are some pictures. Pictures are worth a lot more than words when it comes to a trampoline!
The trampoline is currently taken down and wintering in our garage. Considering the many feet of snow we've gotten this winter, I think we extended it's life by letting it hibernate.
Funny story: Right after we got our trampoline, my friend was out for a walk one morning while my older kids were at school. She saw me bouncing up above our fence and started laughing out loud -- she thought I was enjoying the trampoline all by myself while the kids were at school (which I probably would do, but I didn't tell her that). Really, I was jumping with Jacob...he was just too short to be seen over the fence.
The first night:
Crazy hair!
Rob living his dream:
In every picture of Robby, he looks like he's levitating.
Friends & cousins:
I can fly!
Next, up? A dog.
We love our trampoline too! So fun!
ReplyDeleteI love that story. What great exercise. I think tramps are great for kids (except when you land split legged over a spring, ouch!..been there ).
