Christmas Montage

Better late than never, right?

GINGERBREAD HOUSES: The theme was heroes, so there were all sorts of heroes, ending with real everyday heroes. It was amazing.

My personal favorite:

How did they make this guy out of candy and gingerbread?

The reminder that we can all be heroes:

WOW! That's a ton of sweet stuff...even for me.

PLAYING IN THE SNOW (AGAIN AND AGAIN...)

HAVIN' FUN WITH DAD:
THE TREE (thanks, McKendricks!):

A FEW NATIVITY RENDITIONS:
Isn't this pictures so precious? Robby really understood what it was all about.
Did I mention it was directed and produced by the kids? Complete with various costume changes.
Mary and Joseph - note the camel...a yellow creature found at D.I. years ago. I just knew it would come in handy one day.
What a pretty angel.
The Wise Men on their camels :)
Gathered around the Baby Jesus (note the ripped paper representing hay)
Even cuter wise men on a different night:
We were laughing so hard when Robby was the "star." He will do just about anything Erica tells him.
THE GIFTS: We tried something new this year and each child just got three gifts. It made Christmas more meaningful and shopping more fun. It also forced our kids to think about what they really wanted.
This was the toy of the year. We only needed one toddler toy to entertain all five of us. The rest was superfluous.
