Weekend with Grandma!

I'll blog about our weekend in San Francisco once I get our cheapo camera developed...I forgot to take my digital camera!!!

In the meantime, thanks to my mom who kept the kids alive, fed, and a lot happier than they would've been with us! Erica bragged to people a month advance that her grandma was coming...not a hint of sadness that we were leaving. :)
Here are some of her pictures from when we were gone. Of course, there were no pictures of the times they ate out...she was probably busy getting Erica to hold still, keeping Robby from talking way to loud (only in restaurants...), and playing the one-woman circus to keep Jacob entertained! She is a braver woman than I and helped me realize that I too could take my three kids out! Does this look like a traumatized toddler or what? Think he missed us?
They performed the Nativity for my mom (see Christmas post) - here is Robby as the star (literally)
She got Jacob to use a spoon...I told you she was braver than I!
Rob and I were cracking up when we saw this picture. Notice the smushed face. :)

Yeah...they really missed us...my only consolation is that we were having a fabulous time, too!
Erica read Robby entire books of scripture stories while we were gone.

Thanks, MOM! When can you come back?

  1. I'll watch your kids anytime, but for a few days at a time. I can tell I'm not as young as I was when my four children were growing up. But being Grandma is a lot less stress. We had a great time and the kids were REALLY good. Love, Mom
