Happiness is volunteering in a classroom of 27 five-year-olds, two of which call you "mom" (only one of which is really your child).
Happiness is taking a college class for free and being able to stop by your husband's campus office to say hi on your way home.
Happiness is your daughter asking you to pray for her so she will do okay on her pre-algebra test.
Happiness is sneaking in a nap.
Happiness is a teacher and a principal that promptly handled a bullying situation faster than I thought possible.
Happiness is digging out the old piano duets you used to play when you were dating your husband.
Happiness is having your cub scout save you his last cookie from den meeting.
Happiness is helping your kindergartner count 100 cinnamon jacks to take to school for the 100th day of school.
Happiness is having your Aqua Zumba instructor throw in a Taylor Swift song.
Happiness is running through the house screaming while your husband chases you with a rubber band missile.
Happiness is discovering that you can have self-control when it comes to food and exercise (and you've lost 7 pounds as a result).
Happiness is watching a documentary with your family, knowing that your children are learning to appreciate the world and it's beauty.
Happiness is anticipating book club tonight with some good friends.
Happiness is what you make it!
