Random things I've observed this week:
* Veteran's Day is not an observed holiday in Provo School District. The kids have school. But there is no mail and Rob woke up at 5:30am to put flags up in the neighborhood.
* Erica loves to rake leaves.
* Having two of Robby's friends over at the same time is really exciting and loud...I love it as long as they play outside.
* Jacob is in the "I don't want to be alone" and "I'm feeling left out" phase of 4-yr-oldness. I wish I could say it's a cute phase.
* Sometimes when I open my mouth to say "no", the word "yes" pops out instead.
* Eating an anti-inflammatory diet (and doing weight watchers) is actually doable, even when buckets of Halloween candy are all around. My body loves me for it.
* My kids have large bank accounts because I never let them buy anything.
* The school book fair is much more fun to visit when you aren't in charge of it.
* Halloween decorations can stay up until Thanksgiving. But not if you are listening to Christmas music. That would be confusing.
* Daddy-long legs are NOT spiders. I've learned the hard way not to argue with Robby's insect facts.
Yay another Julie post! I'm glad it wasn't another 760,000 some odd minutes until the next one. I agree with so many things you just said. although I'm still trying to find a diet that works for me. *sigh*
