My dad (Lloyd Hansen) just finished running the Boston Marathon. My dad's goal was to run it in 3 hours and 10 minutes. He finished in 2 hours 59 minutes and 54 seconds! That is a 7:15 pace! He won 6th in his age group. Did I mention he's 60?
I'm so proud of him that I've been jumping up and down and crying! Jacob thinks I'm crazy.

oh. my. goodness. WOW! That is FANTASTIC! Even to qualify for the Boston is impressive and he got 6th in his age division!! Under 3 hours at 60. Wow. That is really an amazing pace. I love that he shattered his goal!

Hooray! We checked it out when Phil got home from work yesterday! Carolyn said he wanted to be 3rd in his age group from the USA - looks like he was 4th (2 Russians were in the top 5). Crazy. 6th in his age group is AMAZING!!!! Way to go Lloyd!
