WHOOPS!!

Today I pulled a really cool mom moment. I drove through the drive thru to get a Burger King HERSHEY SUNDAE PIE (which I've been addicted to for the past 13 years and 2 months). Erica was with me and was holding out for a vanilla milkshake. I studied the menu very hard as we waited in a 5 car line-up...I lost my focus somewhere between salivating and juggling the kids. I drove on to the window...without ordering! Oops! I felt so dumb ordering at the window - especially when the man stared at me like I had lost my mind (with that "how can that lady handle so many kids?" look in his eyes - and I only had two of my children!).

Regardless, I highly recommend the Hershey Sundae Pie's as well as their new Butterfinger pie. I just found a recipe for a HSP online that I've got to try!

  2. At least you remembered to get your food. I've been with someone who ordered and paid and then drove away....

  3. Shawn just walked in the room and started to salivate over the picture of the pie. I guess I'll be giving the recipe a try sometime soon. Thanks!

  5. Yummy...I haven't had a HSP in ages (actually, maybe the last time was with you?)!! Now I want one - but it will have to wait until after Lent (I went back to the Catholic roots this year and gave up sweets - just to keep myself from eating all the junk sitting around the office and it's working like a charm).

You'll have to let me know if the recipe is anything like the real thing -- and I can make it for my Easter morning treat! Actually, let's be real...I'd probably go to BK for it anyway as I don't bake much, or ever, really. ;)
