I've been going to Bastyr (a naturopathic university/clinic) for three weeks now. I've had no pain in my pelvis for about four days!! I've never felt like a team of doctors listened to me so well. I have lots of homework -- epsom salt baths, hydrotherapy (hot/cold), stretching, drinking tons of water. Then I go in once a week for adjustments (I saw a chiropractor for three months twice a week and he couldn't help at all...I feel like the ND knows exactly what he's doing), muscle energy stretches and massage. All in all, I feel really good!
Now if I can just get past the fear of exercising -- I don't even know how to begin. It's a little overwhelming for me! Anyone want to go to water aerobics with me? :)

I'm so glad you are feeling good! I'm sorry I couldn't watch Jacob. Aaron has been working nights and I have been teaching preschool. I should be able to help next time!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it seems to be helping! I know a great Naturopathic doctor in Arizona and I wish he lived here.
ReplyDeleteThat is GREAT news! Yay!
ReplyDeleteI am happy for you. Being pain-free is a wonderful thing!
ReplyDeleteOnce i pop this babe out, I will go to water aerobics with you! Can you wait 2 months? I am so glad that you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThat's so great! Hang in there!!
ReplyDeleteYeah for doctors who listen! We're so glad your pain is going!!!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea you lived with pain like that?! I am so sorry but happy that you've finally found something that seems to be helping. Good luck with the exercising! I'm a fan of yoga myself (it helps with my back) but something in water sounds like the best thing.
ReplyDeleteI CANNOT TELL YOU HOW HAPPY THIS MAKES ME! seriously. i am totally tearing up. love you!
