Seattle has ruined me...I expect the weather to be between 55 and 75 degrees 90% of the time. So on a day like yesterday, when we are 20 degrees above normal, I feel like I'm MELTING. This coming from a girl who spent four years in Houston and Phoenix. How embarrasing.
The temperature was 95 yesterday and just to give you an idea...that means in a city with no air conditioning, our house was 81 degrees this morning after having fans in the windows all night long.
But I'm not complaining...okay, maybe I am.

I'm with you! After 2 months with air conditioning I got spoiled. I felt like I was melting last night when we got back. See you at church in the nice air conditioned building!
ReplyDeleteOh I remember that and Seattle has gotten hotter! No one has air conditioning it seems and when it get aboves 90 - it's hot! I have to admit - I have no problem paying for air conditioning in Arizona. I would rather feel comfortable in my house!
ReplyDeleteIt's time to head to the coast again and splash in the waves. I hope you cool off soon!
ReplyDeleteNo A/C at that temperature must be miserable!! It was 95 here today (which is not unusual, it's like this many days) but luckily I have A/C at work and home...
ReplyDeleteI hope it cools down for you soon!
I think Seattle spoiled me too. It gets hot here, and I unfortunately have no AC :( and I've felt like melting the last few weeks. Even worse, it's somewhat humid (more than AZ, less than TX) so I feel like a giant sweatball all the time. At least this winter it will still be sunny and I don't have to wear a coat :)
