Robby and Goliath
Yesterday, I was teaching Robby the story about David and Goliath. I explained that Goliath called out to the children of Israel that if one of them could beat him, then Goliath's army would become slaves to the children of Israel. If the children of Israel lost, they would become slaves to Goliath's army. He didn't ask any questions about the slavery issue, so I thought we had brushed over it and moved on.
Later that night, Robby was repeating the story to Rob and told him, "whoever won got to be the grown up."
Does that mean Robby considers himself a slave? :)

What a cute story...I can't wait to visit you all! Have you seen the Veggie Tales about David and Goliath? I think that's my favorite one! You may want to talk with him about the slave thing should he choose to fight you for control! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd, I second the birthday clubs...I get tons of free ice cream around my birthday. Dairy Queen also has a birthday club, although I can't remember what you get.
