SCROLL DOWN FOR OUR CHRISTMAS SLIDESHOWS!
We turned Jacob loose with one of Gerber's Biter Biscuits. WOW. I gave one of these to Erica when she was a baby and never touched another one because it made such a mess. Jacob had the time of his life. He seems to enjoy getting messy. He also enjoys making really loud noises. He likes to scream in joy (and frustration ;) and yesterday at the doctor's office, he loved playing with the crinkley paper on the table and pulled out an extra yard.
Jacob is gaining weight really well and now weights over 18 lbs. We also had a scare with his teeth coming in gray and mottled. I took him to the dentist and it turnes out that his enamel is just fine and the discoloration just scraped off. Another unsolved Jacob mystery. He's had a lot of those in nine months.
He is such a joy to be around. He already seems to have a hilarious sense of humor and involutarily laughs when someone jumps, trips, or falls down. He loves to wave and give an infant version of "hi" that sounds like "haaaaa." He's crawling really well and gets proud of himself when he finds the phone or remote control. He is also learning to be the human vacuum. And he's still a champion spitter. What a cutie! :)![]()

He is so sweet and happy!
ReplyDeleteHe is such a cute little boy! How fun that he is starting to get so big and do so many fun things! It was so much fun to watch all of your pictures. It looks like you had a blast!
ReplyDeleteI just love reading about your kids, Julie. I'm still trying not to compare Jacob and Jack, but Jacob really does seem advanced-crawling, laughing at random things, and almost saying "hi!" What a cute little guy he is. Love the family picture, too. You guys are a great family.
ReplyDeleteHe seems like such a fun baby? Is it true that it gets easier with the 3rd child?
ReplyDeleteI love reading the description of him! I hope we can get together when you guys come in February. You'll have to shoot me an e-mail so we can set things up! We live about 3 hours away, but we go up there all the time because all of my siblings live in the area. So we could totally meet up on a weekend, maybe even go out to dinner or something if you guys want to! We'd love to catch up :o) Also, those pictures are cute, but disgusting! I hate those biscuits too because of the giant gooey mess they become. Why do kids like them so much!??!
