The Professor's Posse: Erica turned 11!

Erica turned 11 on Wednesday. This delightful, spunky, thoughtful girl makes my life better every single day. She has taught me so much and I love our time together. It's fun to be the only girls in the house.

On Wednesday, we had two soccer games. Erica agreed to celebrate her birthday on Friday. Although on Wednesday, we took a very cool soccer pull apart cupcake cake to her soccer game. The girls on her team sang the LOUDEST and most energetic rendition of "Happy Birthday" I've ever heard. It was so fun!

Jacob broke his arm on Thursday and had to have surgery on Friday. Erica graciously told me on Thursday night that it would be okay to wait to celebrate her birthday a few more days late. The girl hadn't even opened her presents yet! We were able to do presents Friday night, but will wait on her birthday dinner (we let the kids choose any restaurant) until Jacob can go with us.
